Katori Shinto Ryu
verantwortlich: Julian Thielges

Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu is one of the oldest Japanese martial arts still practiced today. Founded around 1447 by Iizasa Ienao, it was declared a Japanese cultural heritage in 1960. The school is dedicated to the training of different weapons. At the beginning the handling of the sword is taught, later among other things also with the wooden stick and the Naginata (sword lance).

Beginners can only be accepted at the beginning of the course. A regular participation is necessary! A later entrance is not meaningful any more.
